Many journeys start late simply because the pickup point is hard to find. A good pickup point is one both traveller and driver recognise immediately.
Prioritise landmarks everyone knows
A school gate, the entrance to an alley with a familiar shop, a hamlet cultural house or a petrol station is often easier to find than a small lane.
Give both the old and new name
After administrative mergers, many communes and hamlets change names. If your area has a familiar old name, mention both.
Choose a safe place to wait
Choose shade where a vehicle can stop without blocking the road, especially when travelling with an older adult or child.
Check again before pickup time
If the pickup point changes, let us know so it can be checked instead of waiting somewhere else on your own.
